A few days back, I installed Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx and had this strange problem which i never faced before! When i opened the terminal to install a few softwares like vlc and ubuntu-restricted-extras, like always I typed: sudo apt-g<TAB> But to my surprise, the auto complete option did not work at all!
